So, as you may know, I’ve been working on the Music Hall DAC15.2, and it’s been about 2 weeks since. I’ve been trying to explore all the options on the DAC, which is mainly also what held the review back. I have the basic impressions that I want to write about, and it’s there already, but like I said, I’m trying to explore all the options so that’s why it’s been taking so long. I can’t really do that with just my laptop, so from the “set” that I got from my previous Sony DH-800 receiver, I’ve put one of them to use. It’s a Panasonic Blu-ray player dmp-bdt310. It’s a blu-ray player, but I’m going to employing it as a CD transport because there is an optical out, which I will be using. As for the coax input, that is basically the same as optical in that it transfers raw audio data, and it’s the same bit-rate potential so I don’t really be testing that.
Another reason why I’ve been kind of holding off from doing that in the first place is that I had finals. As a college student, these things are some of the horror stories we go through, and I’m basically through with that so I’ll be finishing this review up as soon as I possibly can. So look forward to the full review some time soon!
