Flight date confirmed! Current plans: survive

So, as it must be said, I finally have the details on when and where I will be headed to, in Taiwan for work. I have been working outside the comfort of home in the temporary office for training, so that has been something in the works, and why I haven’t posted in March. I was simply busy doing my other passions off work hours, which includes gaming and catching up on all the kdramas I’ve been missing out on. But now that I have the details, I was granted a one week work from home to prepare for the travel day, which is next week (from the time of writing)! Kind of nervous, being in a different country alone, without family for a long time, and for the first time, living alone too for a long period. Nervous and excited at the same time.

Either way, since I’ve been at home, I’ve definitely been enjoying my system a lot more. Being without it for awhile has indeed allowed me to appreciate my system a lot more. It certainly is something I look forward to coming back to from Taiwan. Either way, I’m going to try to get the Topping DX3 Pro review out as soon as I can, and prepare for the trip to Taiwan as best as I can.

Another important consideration is what I’m going to be bringing with me to Taiwan. So far, I’m definitely going to be bringing my Sony WF-1000XM4. These things are so convenient, easy to carry, and is great with the noise cancelling for the flight. Definitely why I bought them in the first place. Also, I’m thinking of bringing the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones since they can also work on the plane and are for when I’m at home as well. But another one I want to consider bringing is the Massdrop (now Drop) x Sennheiser HD6XX. These things are harder to drive, but I won’t have anything to drive them with there since I’m not considering bringing the DX3 Pro with me (it’s too much of a hassle, and I want to explore options there. Another thing I might want to consider is maybe buying there, and getting something to power those headphones there in the end. We shall see what I end up doing. Definitely need a much more portable type solution so I can take it back home, or bring it back, depending on what I do.

What would you do in this situation? If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

Either way, I’m definitely going to be enjoying my desktop, NHT C3, Emerald Physics 100.2SE and Topping DX3 pro as much as I can before I go. I probably won’t post until I reach Taiwan, so until then, I’ll see you all on the other side of the world. As always, happy listening!
